Global Friendship Society (GFS) (A State Level NGO, Regd. No. RS/672/1995-96) was established on 1st June,1995. This society was formed at Laogaon Prathamic Vidyalay with 21 members. At present society has 1000 and above members are existing.The first meeting of the society was presided over by a renowned person of the locality Md. Amsar Ali. At present Md. Ibrahim Ali is the president of our NGO and Executive Committee and our committee formed with 11 nos. of members,where one President, one Secretary, one Treasurer and 9 other members covering by SC/ST/OBC and GENERAL categories. Since 1995 Global Friendship Society (GFS) has been working with various welfare activities like Social, Cultural, Agricultural, Environmental, Educational, Health, Plantation, Fashion Show, and allied agricultural and more....

Our NGO has opened a Vocational Training College in the name of “GFS National V.T.College” to fulfill the demand of the students and public. Because there is a very need to open an Institutes in the locality area to teach the students or public in various vocational training.We are very much proud that we are the only NGO, having capacity to teach at a time in several items at our V.T.College.We can proudly announce that the vocational training which will be provided to our student on various aspects can make themselves active for engagement wherever they put too.

Now our NGO has decided to open a Jr. college in the name of “GFS National Multipurpose Jr. College” to give facility, educate the student whose have passed the HSLC/or 10th class. So our NGO has opened a Jr. College at the first time in Assam in the district at Nagaon. And our NGO will open Jr. College in each district of Assam within 2015.

Our NGO develope the activities by three major Board. These are:-

1. GFS Education Board:- This Board was formed to controll, maintain and develop all types of education like formal & non-formal education, residential and non- residential facility and veriouse Vocational Education. This Board was formed with 7 nos.members of prestigious and higher educationist .
   
   
2. GFS Film Production Development Board:- This board was formed to develop and maintain all types of the cultural sector. The all cultural programs like Dance Competition (State and National base), Fashion show (State and National base), Shooting control and develop, VCD Film Production, Tele Film Production, Audio and Video Cassette Recording & Marketing and Development, Video Editing Development etc. are maintained, controlled and developed by this board.
   
   
3. GFS Award Selection Board:- This Board was formed by 11 nos. of higher and experienced persons as a central committee and in every state wise a state level committee is under to form. After completion of the whole state wise committee, we will handed over the authorization to them to form a district level committee. When completion of formation the whole state or district level we will start process to select various honest, noblest, active person from all department through committee for Prestigious Award to pickup and encaragement them to increase their energy unlimited.

1. GFS Jatiya Vidyapith.(We are giving formal education and now the class provision from Nursery to class-VIII at Mohkhuli and it will be extend upto HSSLC course, Nagaon).
2. GFS National V.T. College (We are giving various vocational training through this college, situated at Fauzdaripatty, Nagaon).
3. GFS Beautician Training Centre. (We are giving Beautician Training through fancies in all over Assam under our NGO.)

Awareness programes are held in various sector by our NGO in various places at various time such as Child Education awareness,Child Labour Protection Awareness camp, AIDS Protection Awareness camp,T.B. Protection Awareness Camp, Cancer Protection Awareness Camp, Agricultural Production Awareness camp, Fish Production Awareness Camp, Environment Awareness Camp, Pulse Polio, Free Vaccine, Free Medical Health Check up Camp. etc.
20. Creche Centre under Rajib Gandhi National Creche Scheme under Ministry of Women and Child Welfare Department, Sponsored by CSWB, New Delhi.

We have two types of executive body one is All India Level and another is State Level

1. All India Level :- All India Level Committee is the Powerful Committee for maintain and control the whole administrative or any activities of GFS in any State of the Country including control, manage, modify and implementation of any project in every state where need.
   
   
2. State Level:- State level committee has the power to maintain and implement any project or any activities related to GFS by taking suggestion under All India Level Committee
